(MADISON, Ind.) – Two meetings are expected to be held this week regarding a proposed Hyperscale Data Center at the former Jefferson Proving Grounds.
Jefferson County Council has scheduled a special meeting to make a decision on a proposed Economic Revitalization Area (ERA).
The proposed ERA would cover the former Jefferson Proving Ground cantonment area.
The special meeting will be held at the Troy D. Morgan Public Safety Center at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19.

A public meeting held by the Jefferson County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will b at the Community Building of the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.
The BZA recently received a proposal to develop the 7 million-square-foot data center near the National Old Oaks Nature Refuge.
“This is the only opportunity for our community to voice concerns to the Board of Zoning Appeals,” opponents said.
Attendees of the BZA meeting can submit comments in advance by emailing taylor.baulac@jeffersoncounty.in.gov
