4 arrested after Seymour home burglary investigation

(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – Four people are facing charges after a burglary investigation in Seymour.
Police conducted a traffic stop last week and found items that were associated with a burglary, however the alleged crime had not yet been reported.
The burglary was reported the next day and police worked to track down the suspected vehicle.
“Occupants from the traffic stop were located and provided information about the location of the stolen property. Officers developed probable cause and obtained multiple search warrants for numerous residences,” the Seymour Police Department said.
Police said the search warrants led to the discovery of numerous items associated with the alleged burglary.
31-year-old Andrew Schlehuser and 56-year-old Thomas Brooks were arrested and charged with Burglary.
37-year-old Jessica Engle and 37-year-old Freddie Chambers were also arrested and charged with Possession of stolen property.
