(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A group of young 4-H members took time to spread the love on Valentine’s Day.
The Dover Hoosier Helpers 4-H Club of Dearborn County crafted 205 handmade cards for nursing home residents.
They delivered the cards to residents at Ridgewood Health Campus, Pine Knoll Assisted Living Center, and Envive Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.
“Not only was it a local effort to show area seniors some love, but it was also a part of a national #4HhasHeart initiative that seeks to have 4-Hers deliver 100,000 Valentines nationwide,” said Club Leader Sharlena Hountz.
Those interested in joining 4-H can reach out to the Deraborn County Purdue Extension Office at (812) 926-1189.
