4 seniors get scholarships from United Way chapter

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Four graduating seniors are receiving $1,000 scholarships from the United Way of Franklin and Ripley Counties.
The Live United Scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated leadership, service, academic achievement, and a commitment to making a positive impact on their communities.
United Way of Franklin/Ripley County Executive Director Kelly Bulmer said one of the best ways to strengthen our communities is to invest in young people.
“We are proud to support these students as they pursue their goals and look forward to seeing the difference they will make in the future,” she said.
The Recipients are:
Jaden Basler, Batesville High School, attending Cedarville University
Kaiya Rinear, South Ripley High School, attending Indiana Wesleyan
Dorothy Wendel, Franklin County High School, attending Purdue University
Bridgette Ehrhard, Oldenburg Academy, attending Purdue University
