She competed at the Midwest Youth Rodeo Association this weekend
(CLOVERDALE, Ind.) – A South Ripley kindergartner had a big weekend on the barrel racing circuit.
5-year-old Laikyn Dunn was among the youngest participants at the Midwest Youth Rodeo Association rodeo in Cloverdale, Indiana this past weekend.
Dunn earned first place in 5 of 7 barrel racing events she competed in.
She also received her first rodeo belt buckle and it will likely not be her last!
Laikyn has a bright future in barrel racing as she follows in the footsteps of her big sister, Jordayn, who has earned numerous awards.
