(NEW ALSACE, Ind.) – Adults and children are invited to participate in the New Alsace Conservation Club’s 37th annual fishing derby.
It will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake In The Pines on Saturday, May 3.
Participants will be eligible for derby and door prizes that are valued at $1,500 or more.
“We are very excited about the New Alsace Conservation Club reaching the milestone of this 37th fishing derby, and would like everyone to come out and enjoy a day of fishing and fun,” said fishing derby organizer Dale Back.
The cost is $20 for adults and kids who are above the age of 12. Children under 12 fish for free. Registration begins at 6 a.m. on the morning of the derby.
An Indiana fishing license is not required because the fishing derby takes place on a private lake.
Lake In The Pines is located at 10412 North Dearborn Road in Sunman.
