Takes place at ARI's office in Lawrenceburg

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Archaeological Research Institute (ARI) will host their monthly Artifact, Rock and Fossil Identification Day on Saturday, June 14.
The public is encouraged to bring artifacts, rocks and fossils to have them reviewed and possibly identified by ARI’s team of archaeologists.
"Whether you know nothing or are just curious if your own research is correct, the Artifact ID team can help you with whatever you have," the organization said.
It will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at ARI’s location at 126 West High Street in Lawrenceburg.
The monthly event is also an opportunity to learn how to get involved with local archaeology and hear about their upcoming research.
ARI is a non-profit organization based in Lawrenceburg that is dedicated to the study and preservation of the region’s rich history through archaeological research.
