(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Archeological Research Institute in Lawrenceburg will host their annual Adventure Trek on Saturday.
The event is ideal for students and families who want to get hands-on archaeology experience.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to use real tools, apply real techniques, and engage in hands-on discovery. From analyzing artifacts to solving challenges, the experience is designed to bring history to life in a tangible and meaningful way,” organizers said.
The event will begin with a 5K at 9 a.m. and the Adventure Trek and Afterparty will follow. You can register by clicking here.
It will be held at the Guard Archaeological Preserve which is located at 777 Hollywood Boulevard.
“Explore how archaeologists find and study sites while uncovering clues from the past. It’s a fun, active way to connect with history and see how it’s protected for the future,” organizers added.
