Arrest made in connection to Greensburg shooting

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Greensburg this week.
Investigators say 22-year-old Gregory Trimble, of Greencastle, went to a home in the 1000 block of East North Street around 4 a.m. Monday.
An altercation with another man ensued and Trimble allegedly shot the victim. The condition of the victim is currently not known.
Trimble was taken into custody in Kentucky earlier today.
"The Greensburg Police Criminal Investigations Unit diligently pursued all available evidence and leads in this investigation," said Assistant Chief Derek Fasnacht.
The department was assisted by Decatur County Communications, Greensburg Fire Department, Decatur County EMS, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and the United States Marshals Service.
The shooting did lead to a 2-hour delay at Greensburg Schools on Monday
