At least 8 department on scene of house fire in Bright

(BRIGHT, Ind.) – Several fire departments are on the scene of a house fire in Dearborn County on Wednesday afternoon. 

The fire is in the 21000 block of Jackson Ridge Road and the drivers are being urged to avoid the area.

"Emergency crews are on scene, and traffic may be restricted in the area. Please use an alternate route and give first responders plenty of room to work safely," the Bright Fire Department stated.

Agencies on scene include Bright, Sunman, Lawrenceburg, St. Leon, Greendale, Miami Township, Whitewater Township and Miller-York.
