Aurora bridge painting project to begin Wednesday

(AURORA, Ind.) – Drivers can expect some delays during a bridge project on U.S. 50 over Hogan Creek in Aurora over the next few months. 

A painting project on the bridge is scheduled to begin on April 1 and will likely be complete by late July. 

The work will take place on U.S. 50 just east of the State Road 350 intersection.

“During the project, motorists can expect lane shifts using temporary barrier wall and single turn lane closures on eastbound and westbound U.S. 50,” INDOT officials said. 

The project is part of a contract awarded to Olympus Painting.
