Batesville Fire & Rescue hosting Open House Saturday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.)  – Community members are invited to tour Batesville Fire & Rescue on Saturday, October 10.

The department will host an Open House from 10 a.m. to noon at the fire station at 115 East Catherine Street.

It’s a chance to meet the firefighters, explore their equipment, learn about fire prevention and get free hot dogs and drinks.

You can also learn how to buy, charge and recycle lithium-ion batteries safely as well.

The Open House is held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week which is from October 4-10.
