Batesville library to host Author's Fair on August 15

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Batesville Memorial Public Library will host their annual Author’s Fair on Saturday, August 15. 

Nearly 40 local authors are currently registered to attend the event which includes meet-and-greets and a free writer’s workshop. 

“This unique event gives readers and aspiring writers the opportunity to meet local authors, learn about their books, ask questions about the writing and publishing process, and purchase copies of their work,” organizers said. 

The meet-and-greet portion will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the Writer’s Workshop will be at 1:15 p.m. 

“This interactive session is designed for writers of all experience levels and provides an opportunity to receive constructive feedback, share ideas, and learn from fellow writers in a supportive environment,’ organizers added. 

The fair will be held in the Event Room at the Arts & Innovation Hub and the first 50 people will receive a swag bag.
