(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville Main Street is seeking their next executive director.
Amy Lunsford previously served in the role until she was named the Economic Development Director for the City of Batesville.
Their next executive director will lead the organization's continued efforts to strengthen, promote, and revitalize Downtown Batesville.
The position serves as the organization's chief executive officer and is responsible for advancing the mission of Batesville Main Street through strategic leadership, economic development, fundraising, partnership cultivation, and preservation-based downtown revitalization.
"We are seeking a dynamic and community-minded leader who is passionate about downtown revitalization and building strong partnerships," said Batesville Main Street chairperson Blaine Timonera. "This is an exciting opportunity to build upon the organization's momentum and help shape the future of Downtown Batesville and our community as a whole."
Key responsibilities include strategic planning, coordinating volunteer committees, overseeing signature community events, managing fundraising and grant initiatives, supporting business recruitment and retention, and representing Batesville Main Street throughout the community and across the state.
Candidates with experience in nonprofit leadership, economic or community development, fundraising, communications, event management, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
