(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville Primary School has named a new assistant principal.
Patrick Maschino previously taught at various elementary levels at Madison Schools and has served as a substitute principal in the past.
“He has gained valuable administrative knowledge by serving on technology, curriculum, and virtual learning committees. In addition, he mentored under previous principals, assisting them with handbook revisions and general school improvements,” Batesville Schools said.
Maschino has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Indiana State and a master’s degree from Wesleyan University.

Incoming Batesville Primary principal Kindra Moore says Maschino was a clear favorite among the interview selection committee.
“In addition to his professional experience, his upbeat personality and ability to meaningfully connect with both students and adults make him an excellent fit. He comes to Batesville with glowing recommendations, so we are excited to have him join our team,” Moore said.
He has also coached football and track and field at the middle school and high school levels.
Maschino and his wife, Erika, have two kids and they plan to soon relocate to the Batesville area.
