Reimagines the story of the first Christmas

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville resident Peggy Storz has released her debut book called ‘The Eve of The Christmas’
Stortz is a retired teacher who writes under the pen name of Margaret Lee.
It is a poem that reimagines the story of the first Christmas, offering readers a timeless message of hope, love, and faith that transcends the holiday season.
She added that it paints a vivid picture of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem, their search for shelter, and the miraculous events surrounding Jesus' birth.
"While The Eve of The Christmas is a beautiful story to share during the holidays, its message is truly for all seasons," she said. "This poem is a reminder that the spirit of Christmas—the spirit of giving, love, and hope—is something we can carry with us throughout the year."
She said that the book invites readers to search for the child inside all of us.
