(BATESVILLE, Ind) – Batesville Schools has named Bradley Ziegelmaier as the next BHS band director.
Ziegelmaier most recently served as Lawrenceburg’s band director where he led the program to a 33 percent growth in members.
He also helped the band achieve its highest ranking in a decade at the Indiana State School Music Association’s solo and ensemble contest.
Bradley is a familiar face to many in Batesville as he’s been involved in numerous freelance music assignments with the school.
Batesville High School principal Brad Stoneking said Ziegelmaier’s experience as a teacher and band director made him the perfect choice.
“With his history of growing band programs, I am excited for him to continue the momentum we have gained in our middle school and high school music departments,” Stoneking said.
In addition to his high school band duties, he will also teach general music at Batesville Middle School.
