Batesville Schools name interim superintendent

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Former Milan Schools Superintendent Jane Rogers will now lead the Batesville Community School Corporation on an interim basis. 

Rogers replaces Paul Ketcham who accepted the role of Assistant Secretary of Education for the State of Indiana after serving as Batesville’s superintendent for nine years. 

She has more than 40 years of education experience including 20 years with Milan. 

Ironically, Rogers also replaced Ketcham in 2017 when he left Milan to become Batesville’s superintendent. She retired as Milan superintendent in 2023. 

Rogers will serve as the interim superintendent until the Batesville School Board names a permanent superintendent.
