Batesville Schools to host "Meet the Candidates" event

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Community members can learn more about the Batesville school board candidates on Tuesday, October 27. 

A “Meet the Candidates” event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Batesville High School auditorium. 

It’s open to the public and will feature questions presented to the candidates by the high school’s Bulldog Ready student ambassadors.  

Candidates attending are Stephanie Davidson (District 1), Larry Merkel (District 2), and Carla Kemper Austin, Ken Baran, Rob Shane, and Rob Wagner (all District 4). 

Community members who would like to attend should enter the high school via Door N in the rear of the building. 

The event will be videotaped for those who are unable to attend and posted on the BCSC website for viewing.
