Batesville Senior Photo session showcases FFA, 4-H accomplishments

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville High School senior has earned an incredible amount of accomplishments in 4-H and FFA over the years.
Alexis Koch is the fifth generation in her family to be part of FFA and she's continued their livestock and agriculture legacy in a big way.
She has been named the Indiana State Fair breed champion nine times, has been recognized for supreme showmanship, and was selected in 2021 for Reserve Supreme Ewe at the state fair.
Koch has also won multiple national awards for showing sheep as well.
Alexis currently serves Batesville’s FFA president and District XVI vice president. Earlier this year she placed 2nd in the skill-a-thon contest at the FFA National finals in Denver.
“She also has accomplished and received her FFA Greenhand chapter and State Degree’s along with the 2026 Indiana 4-H accomplishment Scholarship for leadership development.,” said her mom, Stacey.
It’s now time for Senior Photos and the family wanted to find a way to showcase as many of her accomplishments in one photo as possible.
The photography session was held with Keep Sake Photography & Design by Kaitlynn Scheidler and you can view some of the photos below.
She plans to pursue a degree in Animal Science with a finance major next fall. She’s undecided on which college she will attend but has multiple offers. Alexis also hopes to join a collegiate livestock team as well.
