(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville singer-songwriter is gearing up to release her new album.
Marisa Fullenkamp, who goes by the stage name Marisa, will release the “Caffeine Rush” EP on February 20.
You can preorder the album now and it will be shipped prior to the release date.
The genre of the album is considered Americana and there are six songs that represent different seasons of her life leading up to the present.
Marisa says the songs document the emotional windy backroads of a young girl making her way and coming of age in the Midwest.
“Each song takes on a life of its own … some phrases are forthcoming and deep, while others are lighthearted and tongue-and-cheek. That’s the beauty of songwriting. We all have a heart and soul. People come from different walks of life, but music captures the tones we all face in trials and triumphs. It’s unifying.” she said.
The album is being produced by Brian Debruler at Sol Records in Bright.
You can preorder "Caffeine Rush" by clicking here and you can also follow Marisa on social media here.
The 24-year-old singer and instrumentalist began writing music back in middle school and started performing solo in high school.
