(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville sorority is continuing their tradition of honoring Dr. Suess.
Beta Sigma Phi delivered free books to families of babies that were born at Margaret Mary Health on March 2.
Dr. Suess was born on March 2, 1904 and wrote and illustrated more than 60 books.
“The sorority members raise their funds to support many charities, scholarships, and donations through their annual Holiday Bazaar, as well as selling homemade frozen pies in October,” said Beta Sigma Phi member Valerie Stutler.
The sorority will host their next Holiday Bazaar on November 1.
