BCEF seeking new board members

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Batesville Community Education Foundation (BCEF) is seeking community members invested in education to serve on its board of directors.
The BCEF board guides the strategic initiatives of the nonprofit that supports the students and staff of the Batesville Community School Corporation (BCSC). The BCEF board is a hybrid governing/working board that assists its part-time executive director in carrying out the foundation’s mission.
They one vacancy on the board and plan to have a few more later this year.
“We welcome alumni, BCSC parents or grandparents, our donors, and other interested community members to apply for consideration,” said BCEF board president Leacarol Bennett.
BCEF board members meet six times a year and assist with foundation duties as needed in between, volunteering their time and talent to provide the programming and support the public schools need to thrive.
