BHS earns coveted All-Music Award

One of 22 schools statewide

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville High School has received the 2024-25 High School All-Music Award from the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA).

The award was given to only 22 programs in Indiana and each had to demonstrate excellence across multiple events, including marching band, soloist performance, ensemble, organization and choir.

Batesville High School Principal Andy Allen is crediting faculty leadership for earning this accomplishment.

"The leadership and commitment displayed by Dan Borns with the choirs and Cameron Everage with the bands over the past few years has led to our music programs growing in size and now, with this latest award, reputation. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and the students, parents, and directors should all be very proud,” Allen said.
