Bomgaars in Lawrenceburg collecting items for Milan horse farm

Community rallying to support nonprofit

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A Milan nonprofit suffered a tragedy when a lightning fire destroyed their barn and claimed six horses.
The Impressive Dogwood Horse Ranch is owned by Ron Brandes.
One of their missions is to provide horse therapy to those with special needs.
A Go Fund Me was launched on Saturday and the community has generously donated more than $10,000 as of Wednesday.
Several organizations have rallied to help the nonprofit. Randolph’s Farm in Moores Hill has volunteered to house the surviving horses.
Also, Bomgaars in Lawrenceburg is collecting donations for the nonprofit. The store is loocated at 181 S Tanners Creek Drive in Lawrenceburg.
