Boy killed, 5 hurt in I-65 crash near Seymour

(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – A 12-year-old boy was killed and five others were injured after a crash on I-65 near Seymour on Saturday.
Investigators say four vehicles were involved in the crash near the 51 mile marker around 5:20 p.m.
The boy has not been identified but is from New Albany, police said.
There were three adult occupants in that same car and each were aircared to hospitals.
Two people in another vehicle were transported by ambulance to a hospital for injuries.
The occupants in the two additional vehicles did not have injuries.
The crash closed that portion of I-65 for three hours. It remains under investigation by the Indiana State Police.
