Bridge project on U.S. 52 in Brookville starts on April 6

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- Drivers in Brookville can expect delays on U.S. 52 between April and August due to construction. 

The Indiana Department of Transportation will conduct a bridge deck overlay project on U.S. 52 over the East Fork Whitewater River beginning on April 6.

The project will take place between High Street and Sonja Avenue. U.S. 52 will be reduced to one lane using temporary traffic signals. 

INDOT contractor Paul H Rowe Company is conducting the $2.2M project and officials added that all the work is weather-dependent.
