The Gerkin family of Batesville went to see Bryan this weekend

(CINCINNATI) – Batesville native Bryan Hoeing made his second appearance of the year for the Padres on Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati.
Hoeing came into the game while the Reds were winning 3-1. He pitched 1.2 innings and gave up one hit and no earned runs.
The Padres ended up storming back while Bryan was still pitching and held on to beat the Reds 6-4, giving the win to Hoeing.
Bryan just rejoined the Padres bullpen last week after missing the first few months of the season due to an injury.
The Reds and Padres will play the third and final game of the series at 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
