(CANAAN, Ind.) –The Indy 500 Moble Trip will be coming to Canaan Community Academy this spring.
The exhibit is an educational experience that allows fourth graders to explore the history and legacy of one of the world's most famous races
Weather permitting, an authentic Indy car will be on display, giving students a close-up look at the engineering and design behind these incredible race machines.
"We are excited to bring this unique learning experience to our students," said fourth grade teacher Angela Hutchinson. "It's a wonderful way to connect Indiana's history and innovation with classroom learning."
It will be at Canaan on March 10 and students will rotate through six interactive learning stations, each designed to teach a different aspect of the Indianapolis 500's rich history, traditions, and cultural impact.
