(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Accumulating snow and frigid temperatures are moving into Southeast Indiana on Saturday afternoon.
The total amount of snowfall will vary depending on where you live.
Meteorologist Chris Phillips with Weather Pulse predicts heavy snowfall of 4 to 8 inches in the region.
“There will be a sharp cutoff in totals near Madison, Vevay, Walton through Falmouth, Brookville, and Maysville, where amounts may drop off quickly over a short distance,” Phillips said.
He added that more than eight inches is possible where banding persists.
"These cutoff areas will need to be nowcast closely for adjustments later today if band placement shifts," Phillips mentioned.
Phillips will be live throughout the day and you can monitor the conditions by clicking here.
Expect travel conditions to deteriorate through the evening.
The low temperature will be about 0 tonight with a high around 10 degrees Sunday.
