(EAST ENTERPRISE, Ind.) – We’ll lose an hour of sleep tonight as clocks will spring forward by an hour.
The start of Daylight Saving Time takes place at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 8.
The annual change aims to make better use of daylight and save energy. Daylight Saving Time will end on November 1 when clocks will fall back one hour
While smartphones will automatically adjust, fire officials urge people to use the time change as a reminder to check smoke alarms and replace batteries if necessary.
