(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Ripley County Health Department is inviting everyone to their Community Baby Shower this weekend.
The event serves as a fun, low-pressure way for expecting parents to receive information, education, referrals, and resources.
“There’s a lot of unknowns and questions when growing your family, and our goal is to help make sure Ripley County families are healthy, well, and well-informed,” said Southeastern FIMR Coordinator Kirstin McCleary
It will take place at the Ripley County Health Department from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 8.
Prospective attendees are urged to register and you can signup for specific classes, and don’t have to stay the entire time.
We have a schedule listed below and you can register by clicking here.
Some unique parts of the event include baby photos, vaccines, car seats and raffle prizes.
“While anyone is welcome to attend, only new and expecting parents can enter to win raffle prizes,” organizers added.
There will be more than a dozen vendors from across the county, region, and state to provide education, resources, and support on a large variety of pregnancy/family-related topics.
This event is not limited to Ripley County residents as families from other counties are welcome to attend as well.
