Construction underway on S.R. 46 in Batesville

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Construction is ongoing on State Road 46 in the Batesville area. 

Earlier this summer, INDOT officials announced a pavement replacement project would take place between Huntersville Road and Merkel Road. 

Work is now ongoing in both directions with single-lane closures.

The construction project was initially expected to be complete by late July, according to INDOT in June. 

The $2 million project is being overseen by Dave O’ Mara Contractor.
