Is a dominate force on the mound!

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A Greensburg sophomore has earned our DCMH Athlete of the Week honors and it is well deserved!
The Lady Pirates have a good chance of winning if Harper Adams is on the mound.
Last weekend, she pitched 7 innings allowing only 3 hits while striking out 12 batters to beat Columbus East 9-4.
Adams then faced Madison on Monday where she had another complete game allowing four hits while striking out 12 batters in a 3-2 win.
On Tuesday, she had a complete game shutout against #2 Rising Sun. She only allowed one hit and struck out 18 Shiners.
To cap the week off, she threw a no-hitter against Batesville yesterday. She went 5 innings and had 14 strikeouts as the Lady Pirates won 11-0.
Adams has 74 strikeouts in only 35 innings this season.
She is 18 strikeouts away from breaking the all-time career record at Greensburg.
The sophomore is picking up where she left off on her freshman year as she had 257 strikeouts, which broke the school’s all-time season record.
