Crews put out brush fire in Dillsboro

(DILLSBORO, Ind.) – Two fire departments responded to a grass fire in the Dillsboro area on Saturday.
It happened on Sangamaw Road around 5:30 p.m. and both Dillsboro and Friendship firefighters were called.
Dillsboro Fire extinguished the majority of the fire while Friendship provided support.
“Beautiful weather this afternoon and we are promised another warmer day on Sunday, please be diligent if you feel the urge to do some spring cleaning and burn some brush,” Friendship firefighters added.
