Crews respond to New Point structure fire Friday

(NEW POINT, Ind.) – Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the New Point area on Friday afternoon. 

A shed caught fire in the 800 block of South County Road 500 shortly before 7 p.m. 

The smoke could be seen from a few miles away as well as from I-74. 

New Point and Greensburg firefighters both responded and extinguished the blaze.
