(BRIGHT, Ind.) – A large number of volunteers turned out for a roadside trash pickup on Saturday.
The Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative (DCALI) event took place at State Line Hill in Bright.
Organizers say the large turnout led to them finishing in record-time by picking up trash in just one hour.
The Bright Fire Department assisted with the cleanup and Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department also ensured safety.
DCALI was established in 2015 and encourages trash cleanups across Dearborn County.
Some upcoming DCALI cleanups will be York Ridge Hill on May 9 and Jamison Road on May 16.
