(BRIGHT, Ind.) – A Dearborn County deputy took time to share messages about safety with preschoolers on Wednesday.
Dearborn County Deputy Christopher Cook stopped by God’s Bright Treasures in Bright as part of a holiday 'Elves on the Loose' program.
The program featured four elves who were missing and they needed to be discovered.
Deputy Cook surprised the preschoolers after he found them.
While at the school, the deputy gave the students a tour of his vehicle, spoke about the importance of safety and also answered questions.
"With a little help from Deputy Cook, our elves were safely returned to spread Christmas Joy. We are so thankful for our community partners who go above and beyond to create special moments. Our children were so excited to welcome Deputy Cook as a special visitor and have our elves returned,” said Gods Bright Treasures Director Millie Fillenwarth.
