(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Dearborn Community Foundation (DCF) has given a $1,000 Proactive Grant to the YES Home.
The YES Home is located in Aurora and is a facility for youth who are abused, neglected or abandoned.
The grant was recommended by DCF board member Mike McLaughlin as part of the annual initiative where each board member selects an organization to receive a $1,000 grant.
“The YES Home makes an incredible impact on youths who have been placed in very difficult life situations,” said McLaughlin, who, for many years, has actively supported the group and its home in Manchester Township.
The proactive grants are funded through unrestricted endowment funds and you can see a complete list of unrestricted endowments by clicking here.
