(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Dearborn Community Foundation (DCF) will host their 25th annual Golf Scramble on Monday, August 3.
It will start at 10 a.m. and will be held at Hidden Valley Golf Club who is donating the use of the golf course.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to DCF’s Unrestricted Endowment which helps the Foundation address the community’s changing needs over time.
Those grants support programs that feed and shelter people in need, support victims of abuse or violence, impact the environment, build trails and recreational projects, scholarships and much more.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the golf scramble, a lucky golfer will be randomly drawn to recommend a $2,500 grant to a charitable organization in Dearborn County!
Golfers can also take a shot at winning a $10,000 cash prize with a hole-in-one during the tournament.
“We appreciate the continuing support of our presenting sponsor, CIVISTA Charitable Foundation and, of course, the incredible generosity of the HVL POA and Hidden Valley Golf Club for their longtime support of the Foundation,” McCarter said. “All sponsors and golfers who participate in the event are fine examples of philanthropists in our community.”
You can participate in the event by paying a $100 per player registration fee or $400 for a foursome.
The Foundation is also seeking Hole Sponsors and Door Prize Sponsors for the golf fundraiser.
Anyone wishing to play in the event, purchase a sponsorship or donate a door prize can call the Foundation at 812-539-4115, or email at fmccarter@dearborncf.org, nkoons@dearborncf.org or dsedler@dearborncf.org.
