Dearborn County Democrats to host annual dinner on October 9

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Democratic Party will host their annual dinner on Thursday, October 9.

The Dearborn County Democrats Evan Bayh Dinner will take place at 7 p.m. at the Dearborn Adult Center. 

Former state representative Bob Bischoff has been selected as the Democrat of the Year Honoree. 

Bischoff represented Southeast Indiana in the Indiana House of Representatives from 1984 to 2010. He is credited with delivering key investments in schools, roads, and infrastructure in the region. 

“Bob Bischoff’s decades of service embody what it means to be a Democrat,” said Dylan Liddle, Chairman of the Dearborn County Democratic Party. “He never forgot the people he represented and worked tirelessly to improve the lives of Hoosiers across our region. We are honored to recognize his leadership and legacy at this year’s dinner.”

The evening will also feature a keynote address from Beau Bayh, grandson of the late U.S. Senator Birch Bayh and son of former Indiana Governor and U.S. Senator Evan Bayh.

Organizers say the annual dinner is one of the largest gatherings of Democrats in the area, bringing together community members, elected officials, candidates, and grassroots leaders for a night of recognition, unity, and inspiration.
