Death investigation after house fire in Columbus

(COLUMBUS, Ind.) – Officials are investigating a death after a house fire in Columbus.
Firefighters were called to the duplex home on Miami Drive around 6 am. Sunday.
A resident who evacuated told firefighters that they had not been able to make contact with the neighbor in the other half of the duplex.
Crews entered the other side of the duplex and say they found 85-year-old Don Horne who was deceased.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the death, but say they have not yet found any signs of foul play.
The fire was extinguished and there were no other injuries.
