Decatur County Historical Society to host annual dinner on April 26

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Historical Society of Decatur County will host their annual dinner on Saturday, April 26.
The dinner will feature a presentation by recently retired Greensburg firefighter Brian Wenning.
Wenning will highlight the history of the Greensburg Fire Department through a book that he wrote.
The dinner will also feature a recently rediscovered short film from 1949 about Greensburg.
It costs $25 to attend and the funds help the Historical Society collect and maintain community history.
The dinner will be held at the First Baptist Church of Greensburg and it starts at 6 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Historical Society on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The historical society is located at 222 Franklin Street and the deadline to buy tickets is April 18.
