(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Firefighters had to perform a daring rescue in Greensburg early Sunday morning.
A vehicle slid off the road and into a pond on Moscow Road around 2:30 a.m.
Greensburg firefighters responded in minutes and performed an ice rescue.
The driver was the only occupant in the car and they were pulled to safety with minor injuries.
“It’s imperative during extreme winter weather to stay off of the roads- road conditions are dangerous and will be through the rest of today,” the department said.
