East Central FFA competes at livestock skill-a-thon

(MADISON, Ind.) – East Central FFA recently had a successful showing at the Southeast Region Livestock Skill-A-Thon Contest.
There were 12 East Central students who participated and they competed through industry and quality quizzes and also had to identify meat cuts, equipment, breeds and feeds.
Senior Alaina Schutte had East Central’s highest score of 187 and junior Addison Powell had a 157.
Other members who competed included Cambryn Botts, Regan Whitehead, Ashtyn Galey, Maci Newman, Owen Shumate, Leah Weber, Jake Rosenburger, Ella Lostutter, Danielle Powers, Gracie Weber and Carmen Fishers.
The contest took place at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds this past Tuesday.
