East Central football, Lawrenceburg girls soccer changing classes

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – The East Central football program is moving back to Class 4A. 

The Trojans were moved up to Class 5A due the IHSAA Success Factor after winning back-to-back state championships in 2022 and 2023. 

Another local change is the Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers soccer program who will move up to Class 3A due to the Success Factor. 

The Tigers won the Class 2A title in 2024 and went to semi-state last year. 

The IHSAA made the announcement this week as they established classifications for the next two school years.
