East Central grad recognized for patriotism

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – Recent East Central graduate Cameron Blasek received an award for his patriotism on Friday. 

He received a flag from the nonprofit group American Patriots which was co-founded by 95-year-old Jack Harris in 2020. 

Their mission is to honor military, law enforcement and firefighters who make the ultimate sacrifice. 

They also honor the Fox Nation Patriot Award recipients every year, which Blasek was awarded in 2024.

During the ceremony, Blasek was also recognized by the West Harrison and St. Leon police departments as well as the St. Leon American Legion.
