EC grad part of first MSJ women's wrestling team

(CINCINNATI) – A former East Central wrestling standout is part of Mount St. Joseph University’s first-ever women’s wrestling team. 

Leighna Prater set several school records and finished third in the state as a senior for the Trojans. 

She played for Hiram College in Ohio last year and appeared in 17 bouts and had six wins. 

Prater wrestles in the 145-pound division and the team had their first match at the Tiffin Open on Sunday.
