Emergency training exercise at Perfect North on Saturday

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – An emergency simulation exercise will be taking place at Perfect North Slopes on Saturday.

It’s being conducted by the Dearborn County Emergency Management in conjunction with the Dearborn County Local Emergency Planning Commission.

The training exercise will start around 8 a.m. and be complete by 1 p.m.

The staging area will be at Tanner Valley Church and residents will likely see an increase in public safety vehicles in the area. 

“This is a planned simulation designed to test and improve multi-agency coordination, communication, and response protocols,” said Dearborn County EMA director Jason Sullivan. 

Drivers are asked to avoid the entrances and parking areas of Perfect North and Tanners Valley Church. 

Organizers reiterated that there is no threat to the public.
