(HARRISON, OH.) – O’Charley's Restaurant & Bar in Harrison will be closing its doors permanently on Wednesday night, according to one of their employees.
The employee told The 812 that they were notified Tuesday of the abrupt closure and said the location will close at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
“There was some sort of board meeting and this decision was not supposed to get leaked and I don’t even think we were supposed to find out until we showed up for work on Thursday,” the employee said.
The employee added, "We weren't even going to get an opportunity to say goodbye to some of our regular customers that I've formed close relationships with over the years."
This employee also claims that all O’Charley's locations in the United States will be closing this week.
While we are unable to confirm that all O’Charley's are closing, there are several news reports indicating that locations in Owensboro and Hopkinsville, Kentucky, are closing permanently on Wednesday as well.
The Harrison location has been in operation since 2005. The franchise currently operates approximately 50 stores across the Midwest and Southern states.
